Our History
A dream, a passion,
and a purpose!
In 2019, BuildReal215 was founded under the name Building Realistic Opportunities (BRO) and focused on website design and website management services for small businesses. For our founder, B.R.O. meant running a agency where small business owners could receive the digital tools and services necessary to level up their business. B.R.O. was not just a company, but a mission to bridge the digital divide by empowering small business owners everywhere.
Over the next 3 years, B.R.O. continued to grow thanks to word of mouth. Publishing amazing web designs for some of the biggest brands in Philadelphia, including Boomer's Kitchen and Catering, 17 w/ Life and Skin by Denise Darrell. As the agency grew, so did its services adding marketing and social media content creation. In January 2022, Building Realistic Opportunities rebranded to BuildReal215, reflecting the evolution of the company and its mission to align with small businesses in Philadelphia to make a lasting impact in the digital space.
Today, BuildReal215 is a leading digital marketing agency in Philadelphia, assisting businesses of all sizes to build their brands, build their businesses, and build their legacy. The goal, Building Realistic Opportunities for businesses of all sizes!

Meet Sharif N. Campbell, the founder of BuildReal215. Sharif has always been passionate about technology and has dedicated his career to making a positive impact in the tech industry. Born and raised in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, Sharif was introduced to digital marketing at an early age. During his elementary school years, he started designing eBay pages to sell vintage comics, rare coins, and trading cards. Without even realizing it, this work taught him how to code in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. From there, he began creating MySpace pages for friends and classmates and went on to sharpen his skills in video production, digital design, and web development during his teenage years.
Sharif's passion for technology continued to grow, and he eventually went to Community College for Computer Science and received a diploma in Full-Stack Web Development from the New York Code and Design Academy. Post graduation he started his tech career by creating websites for small business owners and teaching game development and web development to elementary school kids.
It was through these experiences that Sharif saw the opportunity to turn his passion into a business - Building Realistic Opportunities (B.R.O.), which later became BuildReal215. Today, Sharif's drive to help small and minority owned businesses thrive in today’s digital landscape is what fuels BuildReal215's commitment to excellence. Join us and let's Build Better Together!
